The art installation is a visceral interpretation of the relentless stream of images and news that have dominated our digital screens over the past several months. The coordinates in the title (31.308, 34.243) point directly to Gaza, grounding the work in a specific place of profound suffering and resilience.

As Izhar Ashdot wrote in his song, A Matter of Habit, where he criticizes the Israeli army: "... They’re just objects and shadows, not women and men. Learning to kill is a natural thing...", the motifs in the works also stem from witnessing humans being treated worse than animals. A dehumanization derriving from objectifying people. Through the use of dark, organic clay sculptures, the installation explores themes of discrimination, alienation, and the enduring psychological and physical violence that Palestinians have faced for decades.
Accompanying the sculptures, a video projection of topographical lines growing and then being obliterated by a shockwave serves as a metaphor for the repeated destruction and loss endured by the people of Palestine. This cyclical process reflects the brutal reality of life in a conflict zone—where land and lives are constantly shattered, only to be rebuilt and destroyed again.
